My Renaissance Romance
An anthology containing three stories based in and around Renaissance Faires.
One Knight Only - (Massachusetts) - Tad Fisher is about to meet a contact to discuss a purchase of antiques from an estate. He admits that the local Renaissance Faire is an odd place for a business meeting, but it's the weekend. Why not? 250 books155 followersI'm really rather boring... Honestly. I live a pretty hum-drum life as a wife and mother. I shop at the local supermarket and use coupons now and again. See? Boring stuff.
I live in Virginia now, so I am learning all kinds of new things - such as being able to buy beer and wine along with bread and toothpaste. Wow!
Having been born and raised in England, I do possess a well-developed feel for the English countryside. Comes in handy for those Regency tales.
Even though I was transplanted over to the US side of the Atlantic, I still have ties to all things Brit. I bake sausage rolls and make Christmas pudding. You can take the girl out of England, but not England out of the girl, I guess.
I'm not sure anyone can write really well unless they read. A lot. I read anything and everything these days. And mostly on my couch with a book on my knees. Yes, the technology is out there for electronic versions, but there's not much to compare with a shiny new hardcover from a favorite author.

3 novellas set at Renaissance fairs. One character from the previous story gets the lead in the next story.
The first story is One Knight Only has Drina exacting revenge on Tad for something he did in junior high school. Communication would have worked better than revenge. I liked Tad. Drina needed to be spanked for her behavior. Fortunately someone was able to make Tad see the lie for what it was.
The second story is Knights of Pleasure. Susannah gets her night of fantasy from two lusty knights. She lets them know why she is leaving. Eventually commitment becomes reality. The sex was hot! I liked that Susannah has the strength to tell them the truth.
The last story is Rough Knight? Sophie wants a master, her master, Royce. She unintentionally messes with his mind but she goes after what she wants. The sex and control are hot. I loved Sophie and the fact that she was not going to let norms keep her from what she wanted and needed.
Each story got better. Rough Knight? was my favorite. I loved it. I enjoyed the characters and the setting of the Renaissance Fairs.

Okay. I wrote it. I certainly enjoyed doing that, since these stories are near and dear to my heart. (The Renaissance Faire is a passion of mine!) So even though I can't give it an unbiased review, I can recommend it as a fun read!!! Hope you all agree...
