Sunset Desires jumps right into the action of explaining the concept of the story. This is one book in a series of short stories about a dating service that sets up one night stands, Decadent’s 1NightStand. Gwen’s cousin sets up everyone in her group with the service, but Gwen’s takes place right away. In fact, her cousin tells her and the girls leave her alone with a rose to meet her one night stand. Gwen’s worried about what her cousin put on the form as her fantasy as she thought it was rather personal and private.
Evan’s uncle has set him up with the service and while at first he wasn’t to keen on it, he instantly feels attraction to the woman in the picture. He is confident he can fulfill her fantasy one night stand, but he keeps wanting to think of it lasting longer than one night. But that is all either of them have agreed too.
The night starts off with promise as Evan has bought Gwen a dress, lingerie, shoes and even given her a diamond necklace, but Gwen is worried he heard the part of her fantasy where she wants a man who can treat her like a queen. She automatically thinks Evan has used up some savings to engineer this night after they get a secluded spot within a restaurant and even more secluded spot on the beach. But Evan isn’t revealing that he runs the family company and has the money to spend.
The two have a magical evening in the cabana on the beach, but when time starts to run out, both know want more than one night. Unwilling to reveal their hearts they split and go back to their normal lives. The heart I felt coming from them both here was tremendous. Neither one wanted to let go, but wouldn’t take the chance of losing their heart.
The love scenes left me in a puddle…melted me with the sweetness of each wanting to please the other one. The only complaint I had is that it was too short. But that is the point of this series.

Gwen is on vacation on a tropical island with her friends. On their last night her friend tells her that she called a blind date service so they could have one night to fulfill their fantasies, and her night is on the island. They leave her alone at the bar to wait for Mr. Hot-and-Sexy to come sweep her off her feet.
Her ultimate fantasy is to have a rich guy shower her with attention and have a passionate night on a private island. There is a second part to her fantasy which is that this rich man will decide to make her his wife so she doesn't have to go back to her cocktail waitress job in Vegas. But for this one night she has Evan.
Evan actually owns the resort that she's staying at and is the most eligible bachelor she could've asked for. His uncle signed him up for the service and now he just wants to go for it and have fun. But he doesn't want her to know who he is.
Evan truly had a seductive night planned out, with even sex on the beach. But somehow they developed feelings a bit too quickly for me. The romantic connection for me was just thrown in at the end because it had to be there. I might've been happier with the fact that it was just one night. I also didn't care for the heroine as much because I really couldn't figure out if she really fell in love with Evan, the man, instead of the lavishing lifestyle he showed her that one night.
It was still an entertaining and really short read, perfect for my in between books!

I really enjoy these 1Night Stand books as they are great to read when taking a break from other books. Just something quick and fun that doesn’t require a lot of thought.
Who wouldn’t want a night on the beach in a cabana with an extremely hot guy? I for one will admit that fantasy is appealing. For Gwen that is what she wanted. Just to have a fling in Paradise. So her cousin goes to Madame Eve and sets up a 1Night stand there last night on vacation before they head back to Vegas and work. Evan’s uncle thinks that he needs a break from life, work and the all the demands that he deals with daily. Madame Eve thinks these two are the perfect match. But will they?
How could you not fall in love when there is a romantic sunset, the ocean, the sand, a cabana for comfort and one sexy guy? I almost didn’t feel the chemistry as Ms. Moss was trying hard to convey that Gwen and Evan although they felt a spark neither one wanted to admit it but instead wanted to just keep on with their lives as they were.
I thought that it was rather sweet that Evan with some help called and asked Gwen’s cousin to reveal the whole fantasy as she (Gwen) made a comment at the end of the evening willing to settle for a partial fantasy fulfillment. So he races off to make sure that her fantasy is totally fulfilled.
I thought the characters were a little blah! But the storyline helped in being able to overlook that fact. Even with that it was an enjoyable short.

Gwen and three of her friends are on vacation in the Cayman Islands… The one friend, Heather sets herself and her three friends up with Madame Eve’s matchmaking services for each of them without them know that what she was doing. The last on the island, Gwen is set-up on her mystery date…
It has been awhile since Gwen has been dating and it’s her fantasy that will be played out tonight with Evan.
But Evan was set-up as well since his uncle went to Madame Eve for help as well…
My thoughts:

This book was interestingly written and really enjoyed how the story between Gwen and Evan played out…and the ending wow is all I can say.

First of all I have to say I have read several of the 1 Night Stand series and I love them all. This one is no exception. I think most of us have had a fantasy about a sexy man on the beach or at least I have! That is Gwen’s fantasy too so her cousin sets her up with Madame Evangeline’s very prestigious matchmaking service.
Evan has been working way too much so his Uncle sets him up with Madame Evangeline’s service too. Can he fulfill Gwen’s fantasies?
I think he does a very admirable job of it, I would have been happy to take Gwen’s place!

Madame Evangeline, the owner of a matchmaking service, must be really good at her job! Evan and Gwen were set up together and hit it off right from the start. They are a great couple that have amazing chemistry and some hot steamy sex!
This was the first time I've read any of the 1 Night Stand stories. It was a really quick read and I was pleasantly surprised. No vamps or weres, just normal people falling in love. It's been too long since I've really enjoyed this kind of book. I'm looking forward to reading more by C.R. Moss.
