While a lot of women like reading books on threesomes and menage fantasies, this is a really good book on why cuckolding can become such a big fantasy for married women. And, unlike so many erotica books, it is very well written. The characters are well developed, and it shows how husbands are still "active participants" in this lifestyle even though they can only sit and watch. Probably my favorite cuckolding book I have read so far.

This book was a recommendation, and I will start this review by saying this is not my usual type of story. I don't mind MMF, MFM or any or all of the above in my books but I am not one for reading a story that is completely shrouded by just that. In saying that though, this book showed me a different perspective on what it is like to be completely open and honest with your partner about the things you crave. More often than not relationships like Ian & Emily's get a bad reputation because it isn't what people would consider "normal" and that is ridiculous. Their desires were completely and entirely fulfilled in this story and for me that was the underling story here.

Anyone else interested in the far dirtier side of the story it is there babe, trust me.

This book tells the tale of Emily and her husband Ian’s journey into her first affair, although it is never described by Emily as such. Ian is drawn to thoughts of watching his wife with anther man, Emily is not totally against the idea but worries about the consequences for her marriage and family of such a move. They plan a date night where they will play strangers and Ian will make a move on Emily in a downtown bar. As it turns out Ian kind of sets up Emily and as by chance or design (we never are quite sure as the book is written from Emily’s stand point) Emily’s co-worker Ray is at the same bar, they hook up while Emily waits for the delayed arrival of her husband. So begins a serious of events each one taking Emily further and further down the road to letting Ray fuck her, by various means Emily manages to engineer situations where her voyeur husband is able to watch. A very entertaining book, well written with believable characters and situations. The end is a little strange, where both Emily and Ian admit they greatly enjoyed they played this game neither feel the need to explore further, but it did leave me wondering whether either of them would be able to leave it alone now that the genie is out of the bottle. I think there is further scope for these two characters and hope that there might be a sequel sometime, I certainly would be one of the first to buy it.

Very hot book. Some writing got a little bit too fantasy based, but it kept me turning the pages.

Because He’s Watching is about a couple that decides to pursue his little kink for seeing his wife adored and ultimately fulfilled by other men, and the wife’s underlying attraction to a co-worker.

It’s very well written, with a few surprises along the way, and the sex itself is sizzling and rewarding, but it is the constant and simmering suspense that makes it all a real treat.

There’s definitely something deeply sexy about the voyeurism/exhibitionist side of this wife-watching kink, and thankfully the story steers well away from any humiliation and everything here is carefully consensual on all sides, without degrading anyone. And I think it does well in laying out the thinking behind it all, the emotions and the justifications.

This one’s definitely well recommended (with the proviso that it’s not for those who really can’t stand the central theme – but then, isn’t that true for any erotica) and I’ve already got some more Kirsten McCurran ebooks lined up on my kindle.

Fantastic story and perfect length for the premise. Not too rushed nor stretched out with filler. No real drama other than emotional turmoil of the situation. The emotions were handled well, anguished but introspection was not repeated, and that was enough drama for a captivating and hot tale.

I thought I had read this a few years ago but it turns out I hadn’t. It's a good story an$ well written. A tale of a marriage where the husband has dark fantasy’s about his wife. Told from the wife’s point of view, it seems so does she and thus the story unfolds. I know there is a second book by Kenny Wright told from the husband’s perspective. Gotta read that one now. Looking forward to getting the whole story couple next…

Hot wife lets go.

One of the best books I've read on the subject of the Hotwife lifestyle. It clearly depicts most of the conflicting emotions that a couple experience as they hesitantly enter the hotwife lifestyle. I look forward to finding and reading the story, as told by Ian.

This is one of KM’s older offerings.

Its from 2013. She was still in her ‘cheating wife’ period. Her other series from this period “It started with” and “her other husband” are both cheating wife tales. While very well written, I was not enthusiastic about either.

This story is about a couple with two small children (still in diapers).

Emily, Ian and one of her coworkers Ray. Ray hits on her regularly. Ian encourages her to ‘do whatever she finds comfortable” (his quote). He want’s to watch from concealment. Ian and Emily talk about fantasies in bed. Ray, and his flirting, are a favorite topic.

Emily and Ian had what appears to be an excellent sex life, but Ian fantasizes watching her with another man but is too timid to address Ray directly. He pushes Emily to do it. He will not answer her question about whether he wants her to screw him.

Emily wants Ian present for her seduction. She doesn’t want Ray alone. She is very worried about the optics of cheating on her husband. She feels safer with Ian as her ‘safety net’. She gets over that with Ian’s growing timidity, and her increasing comfort level with Ray’s seductive attempts.

Ms McCurran would not write this in this manner, today. She has a lot more respect for the husband. Her styles have changed.

In this book, Ian is too timid to respect himself. He cuckolds himself over Emily’s attempts to include him. Ray finds more ways and places to make Emily cum. She returns the favor by blowing him. She activates her phone, hoping Ian can listen in. It’s just a matter of time before Emily caves to the pressure. The methods Emily uses to 'share' is first telling Ian, then the phone recording and live,.. then video. Never does Ian grant her what she wants,... BOTH MEN.

Emily continues to ‘date’ Ray. Ian encourages her, he pushes her toward that relationship. He doesn’t realize, or care, that a relationship is building. Emily becomes more risque. She is blowing Ray regularly in the car.

To the reader, this becomes more pathetic. Ian is literally ‘giving her away’. Emily is the person holding herself back from coitus. Ian isn’t, and Ray is pushing as hard as he can.

Emily and Ian’s sex life is built around the excitement she gives him with her retelling of the events. She fantasizes about Ray when she’s having sex with Ian. There are dangerous things happening and neither spouse recognizes it. Emily dresses with Ray in mind, not her husband. That’s changed. It’s a consequence that charges interest. That interest will have to be paid, eventually. Ian is an idiot and he’s not paying attention.

Emily sets Ray up to be recorded in one of the Video Conference Suites. When Ray arrives, she puts on the hottest show she can with Ian in mind. She still refuses to let Ray fuck her. The resulting session with Ian is volcanic. She acts directly if he wants her to have sex with another man. He finally answers that with a yes.

This just leaves her with one problem,.. Where can she arrange the party to take place? She was crystal clear that Yes, she wants to do it, but only if that is his wish. “She is doing this for Him”.

She has backed away from it four times already. Ray is frustrated to the point of walking away. Each time, Emily gets more frustrated, and Ian becomes more aggressive. They have sex every night for longer and longer periods.

All leads up to a Saturday night sleepover that they plan for Rays. She has a portable stealth camera to capture up to two hours of it. She finally agrees to Fuck Ray,... after the first hour, his friend Brian returns looking for a phone,.. and she gets her spit roast. The heat is excellent, but you will have to decide if the anticipation is worth the wait.

This becomes old to the reader. Old, monotonous, and like the rigid single perspective,.. It makes what should be exciting,.. Boring.

It’s a shame because the writing and editing is flawless.

I gave this three stars because of the lack of heat.
I'm currently goint thru all the old Mccurran files i have and haven't reviewed.. I'm currently rereading them and doing to reviews.

The fantasy spit-roast never goes away, yet never takes place. Both men are only there in spirit. Only one is really there. She finally gets her spit roast with Ray and one of his friends, at his appartment. Brian.

I have no desire to read Kenny Writes companion piece "Ian's Obsession".

Dream or Nightmare

This book is classical Kirsten Mccurran when she flew solo. It's the wife's POV of the LS. The elegant and sensual dialogue between husband and wife, between wife and lover is believable. Their reactions are real life. The sex scenes are realistic. The car sex play maybe exaggerated. The old bench seats were best for this kind of action instead of bucket seats. You can hear a husband of this ilk appealing to his wife to live his fantasy and it's understandable that his beautiful wife who is uncertain about her sexual appeal succumbs to his wanton desires.

I find fascinating the parallel book by Kenny Wright that is the husband's POV. Although the books aren't completely congruent they are close enough for me. I read the Emily's POV then I read Ian's POV. It's interesting to read male and female perspective of the LS.

My only issue with this book is the timeline. If a storyboard is made of the timeline it's not consistent with the number of days in the week. Ray has two weeks in the office. First Monday after Bar 88 they go to the gym, Tuesday first real date; Wednesday Emily and Ian go to dinner. After Wednesday it becomes confusing. They go to lunch one day. They go to the gym again. They go to a client meeting and the car sex episode; the video conference episode is another day; assignation invitation is another day; Saturday tryst. I know this is not the great American novel and it's fiction but adding days to the week is surreal. Maybe it's three or four weeks. Or maybe this is Em's dream of her life, like Dorothy.

Not sure it shouldn't be five.

Wife developes a crush on a young handsome coworker and teases husband wit her flirtatious interaction with him. They use fantasy as an aphrodisiac in the bedroom with "WOW" results! Things progress to a date night where they are going to pretend to meet at a bar flirt then hookup as if the first time! Confusion reined when she sees her "Crush" they and her husband hiding to see what she will do. She decides to test how far her husband will let her go until she suddenly doesn't see h any more and calls his work phone and he answered! The story gets better after she gets home and had to confront him with what she did with her crush thinking he was watching! This is, after all, a hotwife story,, so you can guess where this is headed. Not quite as much angist as I would like but enough to hint at the dangerous game they are playing. I liked this and rereading is just as enjoyable.

Great story

Kirsten's story from a woman's point of view , was complementary to Kenny's story from Ian's point of view, which made it a pleasure to read both books.
Though do wonder if there's more mileage in the stories for example Ray coming back to the company but as Emma's boss and rekindling their relationship. Throughly good read .

Very Sexy Story

Nice progression into the lifestyle and hot scenes throughout. The characters Ian and Emily seemed to communicate about everything. It was to see Emily tease poor Ray throughout the story to a great climax and slight twist in the end.

This is pretty good (typographical errors not withstanding...Kirsten even acknowledges they are not the fault of her editor, but I really wish it had been proofed more. Grrrrrrr)

Kenny Wright had talked to Kirsten about a book idea he had and wanted a female perspective for the lead female character (bonus points for not taking male author liberties with a female characters thoughts!) This book is a separate story written from the wife's point of view (I am reading Kenny's alternate take from the husband's point of view next).

I like the story idea of the husband encouraging his wife to do things that he fantasizes about her doing. What really makes this story stand out is the author attempts to explore the mental hardships this type of "playing" can create. The book sits firmly in the category of Erotica so the wife is fairly easily persuaded to participate.

If the authors were to revisit this story and really delve into the effects on a marriage the characters adventure could really have, they would have one hell of a novel on their hands. Worth reading all the same especially if wife watching is a theme that quickens your pulse.
