Garment Patterns 1889 is another reprint of a Victorian dressmaker's manual. Like most of the others, it requires really sophisticated pattern drafting skills before it can be useful. Also, it requires a special, shaped drafting tool which is long lost.
The "with instructions" is a bit of a misnomer. The instructions are in the form of Draft the pattern with the tool. Make up the pattern. (This is only a slight exaggeration)
Very, very experienced costumers may find useful inspiration here.
