As Arietta's friend I know the inclination is to say nice things because I love her and I was wary of that, but I was extremely pleasantly surprised to find that there was absolutely no need. The theme of the seasons which delicately binds her poems together gives a really rounded feel to the entire publication and the poetry itself is contemporary, heart-felt and emotionally stirring. Having never been a huge fan of poetry, I am so pleased to have had the opportunity to discover it anew and find a new appreciation for it, thanks to Arietta's work. What comes across most of all, is the absolute sincerity in every word, you really get the feeling that this is a person speaking vividly about the world they have lived in and experienced. An absolute must-buy for poetry fans and even more so for people who struggle with, this will REALLY get you appreciating poetry for how beautiful and honest it can be. Brilliant work!

I read this beautiful book in one sitting. Arietta's words are so beautiful, so soothing, a dip in cool water for stressed out souls. Following the seasons of the year, Arietta has written something which will speak to everyone. It doesn't matter whether you follow a Pagan path or not, you'll find something in this book for you. I'm not normally a poetry fan, having had it beaten out of me in school, but there's something so refreshing about Ramblings and Rhymes that it's a book which begs to be read again and again. Whether you're a poetry fan, or not, pick up a copy of this delightful book. You absolutely won't regret it.

This collection of poetry offers a variation of style and content that allows the reader to be absorbed into different experiences. The subtle connection of seasonal collections gives a wider story to individual poems, and adds another layer of thought to each emotional piece. I think there is something resonant for each person here, certainly I found a reflection of my own stories told through anothers words. Well worth a read, a book to peruse, to think about, and to dip in and out of when the mood strikes.
