Awesome ways to explain the things behind picture and an everlasting impression on on your memory. Every person who wants to know English at depth, should by it and I promise, no one would get disappointed. Vol 1: 300+ Idioms and their explanation vol 2: Correct and appropriate usage of words and difference among the usages of closely bind words.
Upendran has a way of telling stories and this book bears testimony to his power as a story teller. Through stories he helps one to learn more about the origin behind the many idioms that either we use or come across in our daily lives.

These are a series of book offered by Know Your English columnist of The Hindu. This book was concerned about teaching the meaning of idioms by telling their origin. I am expecting more out of Upendan if the rest of the volumes get published.
