I was introduced to this series by my brother when I saw Book 2 lying in his suitcase. The Painted Man which is the first in the Demon Cycle trilogy(?) was a page turner. The book follows the lives and stories of the three lead protagonists and ends with how their paths intersect. I've already started reading Book 2 which means it's that good! Can't wait to see how this story ends!
