A counter-reformation classic I read back in my early undergraduate days. Although Eck cites a couple patristic sources now considered forgeries, on the whole, the book is a great refutation of Luther, showing the very infantile approach the German "reformer" took. I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in reformation and counter-reformation studies and Catholicism.
