Loved this, i went to high school in tahoe, wonderful to see so many pics from the different elevations. Makes me yearn for my youth again...

If you want a detailed description of the habitats you are going to be hiking past on the trail this is your book. As a thru hiker I found it over tedious on the details but lacking on the more general campsite info. The asides about off trail TRT area sights are what I found the most enjoyable/useful.
