I have used this book many times as a reference to how I want to discuss something with my boys. Some of it I don't use but many things have helped me understand how my kids brain works. I like the differences that make a difference section in the introduction.

Simple lists of "say this, not that" that remind you it's about finding out who your son is, not shaking your finger at him until he covers his head and runs away. (I would also like to read How To Talk To Someone Who Is Running Away. )
