Well, since I’m the first reviewer, I think I need to give this book five stars. I found it clear, useful and well written, with helpful examples and lots of references. The book is very academic though and it didn’t really help me answer the practical question which originally brought me to the book ... how to understand and optimally configure our existing hardware. Some discussion of practical implementations would have improved the book from my perspective. But perhaps that’s Book Two?
