It's unusual for an Egyptian woman to speak out about her experience with breast cancer, much less a whole book. Given that, this was a pretty good book.
I have a lot of questions to ask, but just telling the story takes a lot of courage in our culture. Her experience may not be typical, she was diagnosed in the 1980's and opted to go abroad for treatment.
Will still look for other books on Arab women's survival stories.
