Yes, I read this cover to cover! It's a decent book, I had no issues with the accuracy of any of the content. But after reading The Complete Photo Guide to Perfect Fitting, Vogue Sewing looks pretty useless. You're relying on line drawings for identifying fit issues, for one. And there is no discussion of how fit in one area interacts with fitting issues elsewhere on the body, which The Complete Photo Guide to Perfect Fitting does so brilliantly.

In short, look to The Complete Photo Guide to Perfect Fitting for learning how to fit. Vogue Sewing has been outdone.

One last thing: because this was written in 1972, they do a thorough job of noting how to alter jumpsuits (onesies), which is kind of adorable. Also, they are quick to point out that a lot of your fitting problems are due to "excess flesh due to lack of exercise or being overweight (p169)" you fat, lazy slob.
