This is an autobiographical account of Jeremiah Denton’s experience as a POW in Vietnam. Most of this book focuses on describing the torture methods of the Vietnamese as well as the ways that American soldiers established communications that helped support resistance and morale. A great account on how reverence to God and love of country can develop resilience. Made me proud to be an American and thankful to those who have sacrificed so much for our freedoms and ideals.
