What time is it? A book of Maths riddles is a book based on learning to tell the time. Children are encouraged to read the riddles and tell the time. The pictures show what is being said and also has analogue and digital clocks to help children tell the time. I liked this book, for teaching children how to tell the time, whilst stimulating reading. Although the reading is not for the normal meaning, pupils are still required to read words, including tricky words and also learn the to tell the time. The book would be a great book for the Early Years, or when introducing time. It can be used in both Maths and also at the end of the day, for a story. It will allow the pupils to consolidate their learning and enjoy reading whilst doing so.
