ROMEU CORREIA DE CARVALHO E MELO, nasceu em Alcáçovas, em 12 de Abril de 1933 e faleceu no Carregado, no ano de 1991. Economista de formação e profissão, foi também filósofo, ensaísta, escritor e editor, enfim, um homem multifacetado, um dos grandes escritores portugueses de Ficção Científica. Publicou contos em Portugal e no estrangeiro, bem como antologias e romances.

I don't I'd ever read a book with short stories, so I'll consider this one my first.
I enjoyed reading it. All stories were very different from each other, but they all had the sci-fi feel to them.
There were two stories I didn't enjoy at all, and they're the reason I don't give this book 4 stars.
