This is another great work!
If you are looking for a classical SQL book, so you can understand all the SQL fundamentals... no, I think this is not the best book to begin with.
My personal opinion is that if you really love SQL programming, practices and very good technics you "must" read this book.
And if you have a significant experience with SQL constructs, you can appreciate all the detailed contents.
Really a very good work!
