So I picked up a copy of this bc I pretty much feel obliged to collect all things Fitzgerald. It's a self-help book for men on how to avoid destructive relationships. Needless to say, I felt a little defensive on the part of the divine Miss Z bc a) it seems a little cruel to name a relationship pattern after someone who suffered from mental illness and b) it ain't like FSF didn't play a part in the destructiveness (something the author does eventually admit). I suppose the advice dispensed is sound, and thank the Lord the book's not written in that infernal Maxim/ FHM/Details style that every guy writing about women these days feels a need to copy. Still, I couldn't get past the name. Maybe if it had been called The Lindsey Lohan Complex or something similar I'd have read it closer. Then again, I probably would never have picked it up...
