Honesty Fields

Rate this book
In this science fiction fantasy, Joe Cron follows the adventures of the beautifully nave, idealistic Tom Johnson. Tom is an intelligent and sensitive amateur astronomer. Whilst attempting to construct a radio telescope, Tom stumbles upon a device which to his amazed disbelief, somehow taps into a humanÕs electro magnetic fields and decodes the truth. This, regardless of, or in sharp contrast to, the words that actually come out of their mouths. Tom wrestles with the moral and social implications this device would have on people world wide. Using TomÕs daydreams, Joe Cron explores the concept of truth in such facets as politics, big business, male-female relationships, and advertising, with sometimes confronting, surprising results. Sections of humanity find themselves, rightly, threatened by such a device and seek to take control of TomÕs discovery. With our unwitting hero being pursued by the big, nasty machine of government interests, the story becomes a heart pumping thriller.
