Meet Bianca Butler, a young business minded woman who is still healing from the mysterious death of her first love, Hakeem Brown, the leader of a drug ring named Greed. Raised as a good girl, she promised herself she would never date another street hustler again...that is until she meets Diego Santos, the supreme leader of the Santos Cartel and drug lord of the most organized drug empire in Saint Louis.

After a chance meeting at one of Diego's clubs, despite what Bianca had sworn she would never do, these two enter into a whirlwind love affair that challenges both of them as they struggle to move beyond the dirty truth of their connected pasts.

As Diego and Bianca begin to build a life together, a young hustler named Capone has more than one score to settle with Diego. Leader of the small ragtag crew C.O.D., or Cash on Delivery, he knows all about Diego and his weaknesses. He wants a bigger piece of the pie and will do anything to get it, but when he meets Bianca, will he get caught up in the process?

As Bianca tries to figure out her feelings for both of these men and find out the truth about Hakeem's murder, she finds that nothing could prepare her for the truth she eventually discovers.

Bianca Butler has accepted her life as a single woman running her very own boutique, Greed. Bianca at one time thought that she and her lover, Hakeem would live and love each other forever, that is until death knocks at their door and she's left with more questions than answers. Diego Santos, drug kingpin of Saint Louis, spots the beauty and wants her for his own. Their affair begins in a whimsical yet swift play of events in the midst of doubts and accusations.

Cash On Delivery has too many subplots with no definite destination. The lack of structure assassinates the tidbits of suspense and just leaves the reader more confused. Development of the characters was not truly clarified and their purpose were more questionable than definite. This read was just one big cloud with a 50% chance of rain. 2.88
