This is a really fun book to have. It's old, and has many older photographs of then current singing-stars of the opera. It has very good plot-summaries for operas I studied at school, and includes operas/operettas that weren't included in some of my newer books.
I have used this book for decades to see the stories and as a reference. It has a cast list, key arias with some lyrics and score, as well as many pictures from opera productions of the time. The recording listings are obviously too old, LOL.
