I grew up in St. George, Utah, where a lot of my family still lives, but now reside with my husband and family in the Salt Lake City area. My favorite thing to do is support my kids in their many interests. Between basketball, ballet and piano lessons we squeeze a lot into a week, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

This was a good little booklet about a man that has just lost his wife and how he and the children are coping with their first Christmas without her. Michele Bell does a good job of showing the faith of one little girl that is hoping her mother will come and visit her at on Christmas Day.

An absolutely beautiful story about a family spending their first Christmas without their wife and mother, and the power of faith. We read this at the beginning of the Christmas season and light a battery-operated candle that lights itself all through the season.

This is a heart-warming Christmas story about Emily's first Christmas after her Mama passed away. It tells about her experience and her faith demonstrating that her mother is close by, watching over her Papa and her sisters. It is also beautifully illustrated.
