This book has changed my outlook on a lot of things. If you have a chronic illness...or know someone that does...this is a MUST read. Lisa Copen is open and honest about our emotions and how we feel about people, and the situation we are in. She also gives a biblical way of trying to correct our anger and our self-pity, and how we are called to be in ministry, even with our illnesses. The struggle that people with chronic illnesses have every day is real, but it can be turned around and used for God's purposes.
"Why can't I make people understand? you may ask. Because...there is not need. God understands, and He is all you will ever need. Let go of your desire for other's to understand..." -Lisa Copen
