This book tells how crime fighters use math in helping solve crimes. It contains a lot of charts and graphs. It also talks about perimeter and how to find it. I really like the questions that the students can work out. This book is a good book to show real world applications of math.
I can use this book when introduction graphs. The students can use this book during workshop time to work on the problems in the book. I could have groups work on the book together and partner read to each other.

This book shows many different crimes in our world today and the different jobs within that crime. You especially need to know how to use computers to detect crimes. Math is also very important in a crime fighter's world. This book gave a lot of information on education that is needed to become a crime fighter.
