Really good introduction to the Islamic faith. I found the book very easy to read and understand, the look and feel of the book is very modern and the book provides an interesting overview of the faith its history without getting into too much detail. The book avoids all the controversies that surround Islam today, but then one may argue that the issues associated with Islam today are more socio-political then to do with the faith itself.

Some great chapters about Jesus and Muhammad, the Muslim scripture of the Quran, Muslim contribution to civilization, women in Islam and Islamic architecture.

A great book for anyone curious about what Muslims believe and similarities that Muslims have with other faiths. A MUST read for anyone who would like to understand the faith, history and civilisation (just as the titles says!).
