OK, so this one was at the dump and Mama said "Eva, that's not a story book." But I liked the name of it and it was free, so I snagged it, and you know what? Mama was right. It's NOT a story book. It's a fact book. I mean, it's about what you REALLY do if you find a baby raccoon! I don't know how much THAT happens but it must happen SOMETIMES because they wrote a book about it. Mama read this one to me and it's got good facts, like you're supposed to wait for the mama raccoon to come back, because they're HER babies! And also be sure and keep the babies warm, and you don't feed them right away, and you have to rub them so they pee! THAT part was weird! And they say the best thing to do is have TWO baby raccoons, or even a box of them, but I never even found ONE, so how am I gonna find ANOTHER? I thought they should have other books like this one for when you find other animals, and guess what? They DO! So next we need to read the baby bear one.
