Dave is a troublemaker. His mother's always trying to commit suicide, his father's never at home and he really doesn't see the point of school. Laura has ambitious parents who want her to get on, but she's being so badly bullied she's thinking of suicide as well. An unlikely liaison develops between Laura and Dave, as both their trouble exacerbate.
The dialogue and characters are unusual, and I think stage worthy, but it just seems to reiterate the same points over and over ... and I haven't a clue what the title means. The physical requirements (I believe there are 5 or 6 different sets, one which needs to be 'rained' on) would seem to prohibit it being produced often.
Themes of grief, loss, friendship, bullying, mental health, and family. Well written - loved the relationship between the two characters Dave and Laura.
