This book had a standout feature, the use of story format to convey its teachings. The stories themselves were engaging and memorable, but the teaching sections felt lacking. The author often focused so heavily on a single idea that he missed deeper lessons the stories naturally offered. For me, the real strength of this book lies in its stories, which will likely stay with readers for a while. That said, I couldn’t agree with the heavy emphasis on self actualization. The message that you dictate your own values and create your own happiness or sadness goes against my convictions, since I believe God is sovereign over all things and that life is governed by His predestined plan.
