Susan Beth Pfeffer was an American author best known for young adult and science fiction. After writing for 35 years, she received wider notice for her series of post-apocalyptic novels, officially titled "The Life as We Knew It Series", but often called "The Last Survivors" or "Moon Crash" series, some of which appeared on The New York Times Best Seller list.
I think I stand by the 3 stars, but I had a sudden memory of reading Meg for the first time--directly after finishing Sybil. I started crying somewhere in the first chapter, and I am sure I just didn't stop. (A testament to Sybil, surely.)
2026 update--i'd somehow forgotten that Nicky did a Claire to finance Princeton. And somewhere in there, lied about a hit-and-run accident. oof.
I guess I don't usually read Meg as part of my Sebastian reread (don't know why), but this time I remembered when I have and why I would.
