This is a small book, written to help young persons learn math and understand basketball. I did not need the math lesson but found the straight-forward statistics lessons about specific basketball plays to be very helpful.

I am learning about basketball late in my life so know little about the specifics of the game. This book explains basketball terms and gives meaning to the game through statistical comparisons. I may find myself more interested in the statistics than the game. Next I will tackle the physics of basketball.
