Sultry, mischievous Goth princess, Angela McKie, loves dressing up in fetish clothing inspired by Victorian decadence. Perfecting an air of occult mystery, she enjoys teasing the opposite sex to distraction, and her unusual feminine charms enable her to attract the lustful attentions of two very different men. Stephen Byrne is a serious young politician with a bright future; Michael Merrick is a cartoonist for Gothic horror magazines. Both want her, and set out to get her, but quickly discover they have bitten off more than they can chew when they allow themselves to be seduced by Ms McKie! A witty, well-crafted, naughty story set in the fashion-conscious London Goth scene.
Not a bad story or sex scenes. and I like that everyone is open with their sexuality. I give two stars there are WAY too many "goth cliches" but also because of the paranormal satanic thing. It was just weird, random, and out of place. I feel those parts were in there because again, gothic cliche. It had potential but fell way behind.
I loved the perspective of this book. The main character is one that I've rarely seen in literature--a counterculture, goth, satanist. I liked that she was living the life that she wanted for herself and was examining her own thoughts and motivations.
Still, I wanted something more from this. There was a lot of sex, but not a lot of chemistry.
