I really enjoyed reading this abridged (shortened) version of this famous mystery, and would highly recommend it to any of my middle school students who enjoy the mystery genre. This book is also a good way for younger students in particular to begin exploring the world of Sherlock Holmes without reading the author's ENTIRE original version, which extends for several hundred pages.
