Enjoyed this book. Quaint book with enjoyable remembrances from a time past. Since I live here in Lampasas County just down the road from Lometa, it was interesting to read about the pioneer days and characters the were here before. I love his American philosophy and the hardships, trials and tribulations as well as his love for nature and the country way of life. Want to know about rural Texas life, read this!!!!
