Dawn Jasper is a women’s fiction author. Her passion for reading grew into a passion for writing. She loves giving the characters in her head a voice and herself a well-deserved break from their chatter. Her ability to create characters you love, or simply love to hate, will have you yearning for more.
When she’s not putting her spin on ‘happily ever after’, she’s a girlfriend, mother, and an avid thrift shopper.
Dawn Elaina Williams has done it yet again!!! If you haven't had a chance to read Beautiful Disasters, then forget about reading Familiar Strangers, Get book 1 and catch up! Dawn is off to a great Literary start! Anika, is in way over her head and doesn't even know it. Now, with secrets building, how is Anika going to keep her past from ruining her present or future with the man who loves her Mess and all. Or will she ruin it all on her own, trying to wear the pants in her relationship, afraid to let her guard down. But, when someone kidnaps her daughter, she goes for broke and it might just cost her more than her life... Anika isnt the only one though in this series, with some secrets and a bit of everyone's dirty laundry slips out, in this installment. in the end, you'll never guess who shows up just in time for dinner... familiar Strangers was a great read, and again kept me engaged from start to finish! BRAVO once again Dawn!!! Donna Osborn Clark for your cover and Glenda Wallace for the publication.... a total package! can't wait for the next one!
Well, well, well! Who would've have thought that Familiar Strangers, would out do Beautiful Disasters! I read this book in 5 and 1/2 hours. I loved Beautiful Disasters but I fell IN LOVE with Familiar Stragers. This book showed sooooo much growth for Anika. I don't want to give away details so I will come back and repost a review after most have had the opportunity to read it for themselves. What I will say is that God has blessed this Author with an AMAZING gift and I am blessed to be able to say that I know her, have read both books and is blown away by her outstanding way with words and capability to make the reader feel as if they are right there. If you have not purchased Familiar Strangers yet I don't know how to get you to understand that you are MISSING OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, and ANOTHER cliffhanger, in which I can't wait to get book three. Readers, this is truly an amazing author, 2 hits back to back and the year isn't over yet. Checking for notice of the release of books 3 and 4.
Wow, poor Anika. It seems her past just keeps coming back to haunt her. I’m so glad Anika finally found love with Eric and her babies are healthy. I never expected Anika to have kids let alone raise Teyanna’s and David’s child. Now I see Anika is not the only vindictive woman in the book. Teyanna and Nikita both show a very devious side. I wish Anika could catch a break but then again the story wouldn’t be as entertaining. In this book you actually get to see a softer, loving, motherly side to Anika and I really like it. I’m so glad she decided to make amends with her half sister Lisa. I can’t wait for the next part of the series to see what happens between Ricardo and Amor. This was a definite 5 star read.
