Great hi lo. Written at a 2nd to 3rd grade level, but still has all the complexities of race, slavery, and fugitive slave laws. Should be awesome for teaching.

It wasn't a bad book but compared to the actual novel. I like the original better, but for students where this is their reading level I think that this is a great adaptation!
