Revelation: The Distant Triumph Song

Rate this book
Dr. Becker rejects the historical-critical method of Bible interpretation and instead uses the grammatical-historical method. Following the Greek text, he interprets Revelation's highly symbolic language in light of the book's own outline. As lecturer and teacher of Bible courses, he knew the challenging nature of Revelation for students. With the clarity and patience of a good teacher, his book addresses their many questions and emphasizes the simple theme - "Jesus will win!"

Hands down one of the best commentaries on the Bible book of Revelation. This is a scholarly commentary, but Dr. Siegbert Becker makes it very reader-friendly. Becker's explanation is amillennial (non-millennialistic), which is most consistent with the rest of Scripture, and has a deep respect for inspiration and inerrancy of Holy Scripture. As I said, it's the best commentary available on the book of Revelation and its clear theme that "Jesus Will Win."
