Although attachment theory has reached the mainstream, most talks have centered on how to establish safe monogamous partnerships. What if you, like many others, want solid, joyful attachments with more than one partner? Amy L. Carroll, a polyamorous psychotherapist, treads new ground by applying attachment theory to consensual nonmonogamy. She expands our understanding of how emotional experiences might influence our relationships by using her nested model of attachment and trauma. Next she outlines six particular tactics to assist you in moving toward stable attachments in your various relationships. Polysecure Code is a ground-breaking theoretical treatise as well as a practical guide.
