A very cute tale told by Smokey, the world's loudest purring kitty. Her story has sad moments but she prevails in the end. If you love cats, you will love this read. It's full of Smokey's wonderful purrrsonality.

This is the charming story of Smokey – the rescue cat who set a Guinness world record for the loudest purr.
Told by Smokey herself (with a bit of help from her owner Ruth Adams), this is the story of a rescue cat found its perfect home and fame all in one go.
The book highlights the plight of many cats who find themselves in rescue centres through no fault of their own and the amazing job that rescue centres do. However, the majority the of the book centres around the world record breaking bid the Smokey and Ruth decided to undertake.
This is a charming book which will be loved by cat lovers everywhere. The perfect book to read when you want a quick read which will leave you smiling with a lovely warm feeling inside.

I choose to read this book as I absolutely love cats, however I struggled to get into this book, so was unable to finish it. This book sadly just wasn't for me.
