1)This book fits in to the New Zealand author category
2)I decided to read this book because it was written by a New Zealander and set back in the years where they had whale stations.
3)I liked the storyline of the book because i could understand and picture the story in my head.
4)I didnt like how the book was to short because the author made me want read more of it
5)I would reccomend this book to young keen New Zealanders who are interested in the early years of N.Z
