Despite everything, I still liked it. It was something refreshing to read. The story was captivating, I really wanted to know what happens next. The narrative was quite strong, I didn't get lost in the plot and characters as easily as in other Japanese books. The emotions are lacking, of course, so you have to believe that it's true.
