Despite everything, I still liked it.
It was something refreshing to read.
The story was captivating, I really wanted to know what happens next.
The narrative was quite strong, I didn't get lost in the plot and characters as easily as in other Japanese books.
The emotions are lacking, of course, so you have to believe that it's true.
