Born in Perak, Kaoru has been enthusiastic about comics ever since she was old enough to grasp a pencil and draw. No wonder she became the first female cartoonist in Malaysia to ever appear in manga-influenced style. While her works are very neat simple yet exotic it has revolved around on more love-oriented stories although still preserving the sense of intellectuality and substance. With the likes of "Siri Maskeret Cinta" she also has produced a series of action adventure graphic novels aptly titled "Helios Eclipse."

Tamat sudah pembacaan siri fantasi epik Helios Eclipse atau terjemahan terus ke bahasa melayu ialah "Gerhana Matahari", Helios tu bahasa greek, Ffira Mikah bukan bahasa Greek.
Seperti Ben Wong dengan Fatal Chaos, Kaoru jugak cuba hasilkan komik aksi pengembaraan selepas asyik dengan komik cintan cintun sahaja. Tak salah aku katakan hasilnya lebih baik dari Fatal Chaos (Sebab Ben tinggalkan KGS so komik Fatal Chaos pada vol2 terakhir jadi cacamarba).
Daripada 8 vol ni, 2 perkara je aku tak puas hati, Kaoru nampaknya tak cukup mukasurat untuk pamerkan pertarungan epik terakhir Toroya dan 3 kawannya, macam tu je habis, tak puas hati aku sebab aku gemar betul karakter penjahat Toroya tu. Pertarungan diorang sebelum ni gempak kot. Rugi2.
Yang kedua, satu lubang plot yang jelas sangat ialah si Soileh berimpian nak bunuh Helios, tapi dia tahu kalau Helios mati dia pun mati, ini adalah satu perkara pelik, mungkin dia nak penjarakan Helios kot, entahlah, mungkin aku terlepas pandang tapi malas aku nak rujuk 7 vol sebelum ni semula.
Yang paling aku puas hati adalah Helios Eclipse ni ditamatkan dengan baik tanpa perlu tergantung-gantung atau diubah pelukisnya macam Le Gardenie dan Fatal Chaos. Nak cuba shonen fantasi tempatan, layan "Gerhana Matahari"!

Jilid 8: Bab 29-32 (Tamat)
Double plot twist! Cuma bagi aku pengakhirannya tak berapa memuaskan. Babak aksi banyak dilangkau. Apa yang aku perasan, Kaoru banyak gunakan kaedah 'tell' dalam penceritaan.
Secara keseluruhan, aku enjoy dengan jalan cerita walaupun banyak disulam dengan elemen romantik. Walaupun ada elemen romantik, aku tak rasa cringe. Cuma Kaoru dah tak berani nak matikan watak. Baik matikan je Syn I tu baru mantap.
Apa-apa pun, aku berani katakan Helios Eclipse ialah mahakarya Kaoru.

Love the series, although the ending was not i was hoping for -it was meant to be? T.T
Had been reading Kauro’s artworks during my childhood years xD yet, this series has it potential to be at least an animation adaptation :D *though, some book/ comic to screen adaptations can be disappointing, i hope the adaptation will be great, if there is x)
