The stories had great ideas behind them (well, other than The Scar...I didn't quite get the point of that one) and they were loosely tied together through Sayenne, however they felt unfinished as a whole. More like a movie trailer preceeding a big release. I understand that a book is in the works for Haydon and I was intrigued enough with the world to look forward to that once it comes out. Should be a good series!

This is a kind of snapshot view of a world in the making. The characters and the world-building involved are intriguing and enchanting. I can't wait for these vignettes to open up into a larger, world-exploring tale.

These are VERY SHORT stories. Personally, I would probably be more likely to call the majority of them story ideas rather than actual, complete stories. The characters were interesting, and I'm intrigued enough to keep an eye out for more, but overall I agree with the previous reviewer in that it feels unfinished.

Great story

The short stories are well written. They would make for an interesting book when woven together. Just remember no curse words, and no talk of women's/ girls bodies in sexual / pornographic ways.
