This is a coffee table book that educates us to the distillation process of the "water of life" and its history. It shows the four regions of Scotland's distillers and describes the differences in flavors and aroma. It has many pictures of the distillery buildings and the surrounding area complete with maps. It's a great reference for those of us who appreciate good whisky (not whiskey) and a nice picture book of the beauty of Scotland if you are a non-drinker........mgc
A MUST read by any fan/lover of Scotch Whiskey. So much to learn, so much to enjoy, so much to look forward to trying and possibly savor, and so many ideas for travel to my homeland of Scotland (I am half McLean, of Mull).
