The first Kindle edition of this book had some significant spelling and grammatical errors, but the story is so good, I was willing to overlook them. My understanding that those errors have been fixed now.

I didn't think I'd like this book, all MC books tend to read pretty much the same. The flow and grammar were a little wonky, but I ended up liking the story (but still stick to my MC books reading the same) and have part II downloaded and started. Part I wrapped up saying that the flow and grammatical errors have been improved on. I haven't written a book so who am I to criticize? But I give the author kudos for sticking it out and continuing on with the story.

Amateurish writing in need of an editor.

The author doesn’t know the difference between track and tract, bated and baited or gate and gait. His description of the daily activities of these club members is highly romanticized even though he throws in some extremely brutal and completely disgusting activities at random times throughout the story. It’s also very apparent he knows little about Harleys when he stated the club members left their keys in the bikes.

Worthy reading

#1: I dislike giving headers to my reviews.
This book was pretty good. A whole different from reading motorcycle romance & drama from a woman's point. I had a harder time putting this book down...I enjoyed reading it, as it did state some of it actually happened...
I'm ordering the 2nd book now..
I especially liked the authors style of writing

The premise of this book is a promising one: how the character (Connor) transforms from a straight-laced yuppie accountant into a rough-and-tumble biker capable of violence. Since I tend to write about characters who are transformed by something they experience in their life - and I’m a biker myself - I had to read this book.

Unfortunately, the writing issues got in the way of the story. These are issues common to first-time authors (like telling instead of showing, shifting point of view, non-contributing events, stereotypical characters, etc). As a result, I felt the story got weaker as it went on.

I personally do not like cliff-hanger endings (which this book has). I felt cheated, like I’d spent all this time reading and still don’t know what happens and have no sense of wrapping up the story lines and sub-plots.

That said, I give the author kudos for taking on a difficult subject!

Neat storyline but the writing needs work, mispellings and such made for the lower rating. I felt I was reading something written for middle school the way it started out...needs a good editor to round it out into a great story.
