This nice softcover book is great if you're looking for activities to do outdoors, in your community or around the state of Oregon which are appropriate for younger people. Although the illustrations and design make it seem like the book's geared only to elementary-aged kids, there's plenty here that will appeal to pre-teens and teenagers, including things like touring the fascinating Bonneville Lochs, Dam and Fish Hatchery, the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center or the sprawling Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. The book is pretty comprehensive, providing lodging and restaurant recommendations as well.

Enjoyed this breezy and superficial ride through fun things to do in Oregon, organized in 7 geographical sections. Examples of locations to visit include the Tillamook Air Museum, Pendleton Roundup, and Cannon Beach. Fun book about fun doings!

I've read several books in this series. this one seemed to have fewer or less varied options for things to do. We used the portion about waterfalls the most and enjoyed our trip!
