Sally is sleek, slim and simply stunning slug ... and she knows it. She can't resist reminding her neighbor, Dave, that he's just a common fat slug who spends his time sitting on his slimy slug bottom. But when Sally's life is at stake, Dave steps in and saves the day!Alliterations abound in this terrific tongue-twister of a tale.

Simply superb storytelling about some super, spectacular slugs.
A funny story about an unlikely friendship and not judging the proverbial book by it's cover. A great introduction to the wonders of alliteration. I'll probably never look at a slug the same way again!
An alliterative story about two slugs 🐌 with the moral that just because you don’t aspire to be as sleek and slim as Sally, doesn’t mean you are not special in your own way.
First read this a some years ago. Delightfully silly, sassy, sexy little tale about Dave the slug (the Hawaiian shirt wearing kind) and Sally. The alliteration is hilarious and the story, ending with slugs slithering off into the sunset, will melt your heart. Re-readable until it sends you dotty.
