What if it were possible to buy a device that can increase the processing speed of your brain, just like adding RAM- (Random Access Memory) to your home computer? With this product, you’re able to learn a foreign language or other complex subjects within seconds.

In the world of “System-Upgrade”, almost everyone has one of these devices; people wear them like a hearing aid. (Like cell phones today, you can’t really compete in business without one).

The story is about Neal Stevens, an undercover CIA analyst who is assigned to work for the company that develops this product. Neal discovers that within the device is software that influences a user’s propensity to buy certain products or vote for the next presidential candidate.

Neal also finds out that senior leaders of the US government are working directly with the CEO of his company and that the technology his company sells to the public could help to manipulate the election process.

Suddenly… Neal’s life is in danger and he is hunted down by an unknown corporate conspiracy because he knows too much. A secret plan is behind the development process of this product and Neal has to get the proof or die.
