Even though I'm not a religious Jew, I found the ArtScroll Hagada by Joseph Elias, to be an excellent source for the traditions and meaning of Passover. Every line and every ritual is interpreted with exhaustive references from leading rabbis and the Talmud, and as well as sources from the Hebrew Bible.
