A raccoon family harvests their vegetables from the garden. Each day they pick a new vegetable. On Saturday, they make a stew from all the vegetables that gathered during the week.
The pictures fill the page with a very simple sentence for little learners or readers. It's a great book that can be used under a variety of themes.
Theme: vegetables
Additional themes: soup/stew, raccoons, gardening, harvest, days of the week
Reviewed from a library copy.

Children can learn about vegetables and the name of the days of the weeks at the same time. Let the students illustrate the vegetable they eat each day.
