This book had a lot of neat ideas that can be done individually and as groups.. a great reminder to don’t look to presents or decorations or parties to provide joy. Relationships are what truly satisfy and enrich your life..
If we picture Jesus as the lights on the tree; we should be the tinsel to reflect the light.

My neighbor loaned me this book and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I even made notes of things to do. Ideas such as bundling up and going for a "Winter Walk" instead of just hurrying from house to car to work to the store, etc. And delighting in the walk, listen to the birds, the snow crunch. Have a "Silent Night" a quiet time to just sit and listen to Christmas music, enjoy the Christmas tree lights, and think about the real reason we celebrate. Read aloud the Christmas story from the scriptures. Read a Christmas book together as a family. Learn customs from other religions such as Hanukkah. Very uplifting.
